Microdot was established in 1990 by Brian Cannon after completing a BA (Hons) degree in graphic design.

The early to mid nineties saw Microdot establish itself as one of the worldwide leading figures in music related packaging and was described by The National Post of Canada as “A major force in the evolution of album design”. Two of Microdot’s sleeve designs appear in Q Magazines top 100 record covers of all time.

The mid to late nineties saw great diversification as many corporate projects for huge blue chip organisations were undertaken, some of which can be viewed on this site.

Areas of specialisation include, but are not exclusive to, fashion, sport, entertainment and music, covering disciplines from packaging, branding, design for both print & web to corporate identity, advertising and moving image direction.

Having reached the twenty year milestone, Microdot remains today, as focused and dedicated as ever to creative excellence. We welcome commission enquiries from organisations and individuals who believe they would benefit from the Microdot Creative experience.
